Common Name: Dusky Salamander
Family: Lungless Salamanders (Plethodontidae)
Genus: Desmognathus
Species: sp.
Observer(s): Noah Charney
Notes: I find duskies on the waterfall; in the creek below; and in the creeks running through Nashville Highland's property. Note the white line from its eye to jaw; and its thicker back legs that it can actually jump pretty far with. This is a young one. I haven't figured out how to identify them to the species level yet. Can anyone help figure these out?
